Birth Trauma Association
A charity that supports women who suffer birth trauma – a shorthand term for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) after birth. ​
Perinatal Support Services
The Family Action Perinatal Support Services are early intervention, low intensity services for those with low to moderate level diagnosed mental health issues or who are at risk of developing perinatal mental illness.
Sure Start
Sure Start centres give help and advice on child and family health, parenting, money, training and employment. Some centres also provide early learning and full day care for pre-school children.
AIMS works towards better births for all by campaigning and information sharing, protecting human rights in childbirth and helping women to know their rights, whatever birth they want, and wherever they want it.
Reading Maternity Voices
RMV works together to review and contribute to the development of local maternity services. They are an independent body, reporting to the local Federation of GP Commissioning Groups that commissions maternity services.

Berkshire Mummies
The Berkshire Mummies blog was started in 2017 by Shona, a Berkshire mum of two. The aim of Berkshire Mummies is to share helpful information for Parents, Grandparents and Carers based in Berkshire. When Shona’s first child was younger Shona spent hours trawling the internet for places to go and things to do with her child. Berkshire Mummies was born from Shona sharing the days out she had organised for her family. Over the years Berkshire Mummies has grown and continues to grow.
